| 1999 Volkswagen Jetta GLS 2.8L No Start, MIL Lamp on VIN: 3VWSE29M4X The fix was the ignition switch. Thank you for the replies the big problem was the codes the same as a faulty fuel pump relay. After the fact I did find out this ignition switch has a high failure rate. I love Iatn use it all the time best tool in my tool box. Trouble codes: P1225 (fuel injector cyl 1 short to ground), P1229 (fuel injector cyl 5 short to ground), P1227 (fuel injector cyl3 short to ground), P1230 (fuel injector cyl 6 short to ground), P1425 (evap puege valve valve short to ground). |
