The Individual Sponsorship will allow you to search the iATN Knowledge Base for vehicles you are personally working on, from home or work, using a single concurrent connection.

If you need to support the work of co-workers or others, or simultaneously access the search features from multiple computers, or use the account for more than light personal use, please choose the Business level instead.

NOTE: Remember that no matter what sponsorship type you have, you should never share your login credentials with anyone. Excessive search volume or multiple simultaneous accesses may trigger usage limitations on your account.

Business Sponsor accounts are eligible for "Business Use" of the sponsorship features.

The Business Sponsorship will allow you to use the iATN Knowledge Base for normal business use at a single repair facility. This includes simultaneous search access from up to four (4) concurrent browser connections at a single business location. You will also receive the other Business Sponsor benefits, such as the public webpage aimed at advertising to potential customers, and advanced placement in the Repair Shop Finder.

NOTE: Multiple employees may search from your logged in business account provided they only do so from your single business location. Only the person named on this business account should use this account from outside your business location, or to post messages or help requests on iATN. Be sure your log-in credentials are kept secure as this information could allow unwanted changes to your account, or trigger excess usage limitations.

If you need to support the work of a large shop (over 4 full time employees searching iATN), then you should consider additional sponsorships for key employees. If you have more than one location, please establish a separate Business Sponsor account under the name of a trusted employee at each additional location.

One major advantage of providing key employees with their own Individual Sponsorship, in addition to your Business Sponsorship, is their ability to do research and further their automotive expertise from home. The educational benefits alone are worth the small additional investment in your employees. For this reason, many shop owners with Business Sponsorships also offer to reimburse their top employees who wish to upgrade their own personal accounts to the Individual Sponsorship level.

If you need to use the Business Sponsorship features in more than one location, then you should consider upgrading one person in each facility to a Business Sponsorship. In addition to the additional searching capabilities, this provides you with additional public webpages in the Repair Shop Finder, targeted at consumers.

If you need to support more than four simultaneous browser sessions at once (e.g. to support more than four employees at once), then you should consider adding another Business Sponsorship at the same location, or upgrading some or all of the employees' iATN accounts to Individual Sponsorships.

The advantage of an Individual Sponsorship for an employee is that they can use the searching capabilities and sponsorship features at home, as well as at work. With the vast resources available to iATN sponsoring members, this can provide an excellent source of highly educational material.
