1991 Honda Accord 2.2L Poor Idle Quality
Customer complains of stalling on stops. Test drove and
will duplicate the problem randomly. When I slow to stop
can notice tach will drop to about 500 rpm and either raise
back to 600 or stumble and die. Acts just like dirty TB or

1.20...According to tsb should be 1.00... Smoked system for
vacuum leak... None found... Replaced MAP with new

2004 Honda Accord 2.4L directionals
No power supply problems on any fused curcuits. Wiper &

1997 Nissan Pathfinder 3.3L Drive-axles
We have just encountered a problem while trying to replace
the rear axle seal on this vehicle. It seems a special tool
is required to press the bearing off to access the seal.
Can this be done without the $300 tool? Anyone have
experience with this?

2002 Subaru Outback 2.5L Stall
This car has a P1112 in the computer. Subaru test
procedures indicate that if there are no other trouble
codes displayed that the ECM should be replaced (with a
side note that the atmospheric pressure sensor is built
into the ECM).

Thanks for all the help. I am unable to come up with a fix for this one. Replaced throttle body, IAC twice, PCV, the chamber on the air intake hose, pulled the intake and saw nothing out of the ordinary. The final thing I did was tape off the hole for the IAC ... |

2007 Honda Element 2.4L Starting
this ended up being a simple fix , the settings in the software stop you from accessing the immobilizer section (the icon is missing) until a valid code is used for the software access, this is also true for the pocket tester |

I'LL TRY TO REVIEW ALL 7 REPLIES IN THE ORDER THEY WERE RECIEVED: FIRST THE PCV VALVE WAS A TOYOTA PCV VALVE, SECOND: THE VEHICLE RAN NORMAL BEFORE WE PERFORMED THE MAINTENANCE, THIRD: OUR TECH DID PULL THE INTAKE BEFORE CHANGING THE PLUGS SO... Thank you for your help. I recieved 8 replies, Gary [...] and Dan [...] hit it with a bad coil. I used an adjustable spark tester and spark started breaking down at 20k setting, New coil went well past 60k and the car runs great. |
