While checking all of my grounds again I discovered the Left valve cover has 0.65 Volts!!! without anything hook to it and the battery terminals crossed/grounded. 2002 Kia Sportage 2.0L valve timming?
We ended up advancing the crank timming 4 notches and the vehicle runs fine no codes no runability. We don't know why, we have over 15 hrs just in why the vehicle won't run with the timming marks in place. Thanks for the replys. |

1996 Lexus SC300 3.0L MIL Lamp on
Right to the business at hand. This car is fixed. It had 2 VERY slightly bent exhaust valves. 1 on cylinder 6 and 1 on cylinder 1. The tech who did the cam seals did not hold the exhaust cam fixed when he ran the cam gear bolts out with an impact.

I had several replies to check grounds and a few to replace the igniter again. After checking grounds I found a disconnected strap on the back of the motor to the firewall, the other grounds were at best, poorly attached. The moral of the story here is keep it...
