1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4.0L Starter VIN: 1J4FJ68S3T
It was the yellow wire going to the starter from the key. It was spliced into by the alarm installer. We also spent a lot of time ridding this old jeep of this alarm because it had it's tentacles in several other systems as well. Thanks to all who responded.
