| 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.4L Pinging/detonation VIN: JT3HN86R21 Problem solved! Thanks to everyone who replied! Colder plugs and a 160* thermostat did the trick! Pinging/Detonation was caused by higher than normal combustion chamber temp, due to lack of EGR valve. |
