2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.4L Pinging/detonation
Hello Toyota Techs! We have a 01 4runner with a 3.4, Its supercharged off the lot. Customer complains of Pinging or Detonation on moderate and heavy Accel. even when he uses Octane booster. The first thing I think of is EGR function,(or possible clogged ports)...
