1997 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4L No Start
Hi I have a no start, the PCM will not energize the relay
wich powers the fuel pump and the injectors. Fuses are ok

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 4.3L Hesitation
Thanks for all the help. I was able to get it to act up and make a movie on the scanner. At 45 mph, during a hard acceleration tps @ 85%, the maf reading 15.55 gram/sec, both o2 dropped to 10 mv. fuel trim jumped to 199, and inj pulse went to 22.55 ms. So I kn... Thanks to all eight that replied. Most said that the charcoal canister had loose charcoal that cloged the purge valve. I removed the purge valve and shook it over a white piece of paper. About 10 pepper sized particles and a slightly larger rectanglar... Trouble codes: 443 (purge valve performance). |

2005 Chevrolet Aveo 1.6L Poor Idle Quality, Hesitation
I received a few responses, and it seems that the problem is caused by the valves in the cylinder head not seating. There is a TSB out on this. It involves replacing the valves with a revised design...way expensive for a Aveo, especially when it's a hail damag... Trouble codes: P0106 (map sensor performance). |

As most of you said, the aftermarket cat converter is not the way to go...so after emptying this guys wallet further, I installed the oem converter and viola! its fixed!!! thanks for the help, sorry it took awhile to close this, I got tied up putting an engine...
