2002 Lincoln LS 3.9L stability control
I have a 2002 Lincoln LS here, the "advanctrac" traction
control light is always flashing in the cluster. alldata
says the system needs to be calibrated, but I have not
found directions to do so. My scanner can read the ABS

Sorry guys but this truck still is not fixed .All replys were checked and rechecked .timming chain tenioners were re placed but that caused more problems. the cam phaser gears are next to be re placed.waiting on parts .If we ever get this thing going I will po... Thanks for the replys. some really good Ideas, but as of now I am told like Terry [...].,do not touch or ford will VOID warranty. Ford is sending a engineer from detroit to test drive for himself. I will let you know when this is repaired or Refused.

1996 Lincoln Continental 4.6L MIL Lamp on
Thanks to all the guys that replied. Most recommended that I check DORMAN for replacement manifolds. After checking online and also calling their 800 number, came up empty (no listings).
The owner of the car is thinking hard about trading it in without fixing ... Trouble codes: po171 (po174-), po174. |

2004 Mercury Sable 3.0L Poor Idle Quality
this vehicle needed testing that i do not have the equipment for. i don't have a smoke tester but do want to get one. the customer decided to take the car to the ford dealership and i have not heard the outcome of the problem. thanks for all your replies. |
