1995 Lexus ES300 3.0L Cuts out, MIL Lamp on
Hello fellow Techs! This is my first help request. This '95
ES300 came to me with the MIL on and the customer stating
that the vehicle runs fine, no performance issues. DTC
P0401 EGR Insufficient flow was the only code at this time.
Diagnosed and found a fault... Trouble codes: P0401 (Insufficient EGR Flow Detected), P0340 (Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit). |

1999 Toyota 4Runner 3.4L MIL Lamp on
Keeps setting P0420, replaced air/fuel ratio sensor and it
outputs a voltage of 3.2 volts @ idle all the way to the
computer. The scanners (Modus) and (Mastertech) show 660mv
for bank 1 sensor 1 (the air/fuel ratio sensor) and a
varying 100mv to 900mv for the ... Trouble codes: P0420. |

2005 Honda Civic 1.7L Steering wheel shake
We rotated the tires and found no change in the ossilation. We will be putting the snow tires on in about 5 weeks and will see if there has been any change in the complaint. The customer is content with this plan.

1995 Lexus GS300 3.0L MIL Lamp on
Problem as suspected was not a misfire but a problem with misfire detection. By re-tracing all our steps, we found a broken tooth on the crankshaft sprocket--one of the teeth that the crank angle sensor is looking at. Must have happened when the timing belt ... Trouble codes: P0300 (Random Misfire), P0301 (Misfire Cylinder 1), P0306 (Misfire Cylinder 6). |
