Just a thought, how about excessive EGR flow. Just thinking of early G.M. with the weak springs in the valve. I work on hundreds of subarus with 2.5's and have never run into a misfire code. Another thought is crank sensor, the 95-96 year range fail faster tha... Login to read more.
