Howdy Wade......Just a comment on the 4x4 front axle (not driveshaft) u-joints being a safety item. I had at least 2 repairs over the years (that come right to mind) on 4x4's that had experienced a total failure of the axle u-joint while underway in 2wd WHILE ... Login to read more.
