Re: Ford 4.9 Timing gear removal?
we use a air chisel to remove the gear. Cut the fiber off and this will leave a alum sleeve on the cam. take the air chisel and get as parallel to the cam as you can and it will usually walk the sleeve right off. Login to read more. ![]()
