If it is a GM with a V style engine it is 90% of the time going to be intake gaskets. this goes for 3.1 , 4.3 , 5.0, 5.7, etc.... If there is no engine noise I would just do the intake gaskets and oil pump shaft O-ring and you will be O.K. Login to read more.
