Good catch. The residual valve is for drums only, or if the master is lower than the brake cylinders...

While the rear lines are often 3/16 while the fronts are 1/4 in a lot of disc/drum systems, I'm sure it has to do with economy only, 1/4 lines to the rear... Login to read more.
