Sorry if my question was not quite clear ... I thought all cars sold in Canada from 1996 up had to be OBD 2 compliant . I had to work on 2 VW Golf 1.8 li. 96 monojetronic none had MIL and I found the usual OBD 2 connector with no communication to generic scann... Login to read more.
