I use an adjustable spark tester and use it like this: I use an old pre-cop plug wire from an older crown vic and use it to put the tester inline with the plug. First I set it at 50KV and start engine. If there is no spark, I reduce it to 40KV. Then 30KV...etc... Login to read more.
