Just a slight correction if I may.

Its divide by 9 not 8.

ie. 212oF = (212 -32)/9 *5 = 180/9 *5 = 20 *5 = 100 oC

not 212oC = (212 -32)/8 *5 = 180/8 *5 = 22.5 *5 = 112.5 oC
