Yes, the alcohol I used was methonal. I understand that ethonal is less corrosive, but it has very similar BTU content and does absorb moisture. Years ago I was at Carter Carburetor in St. Louis when ethonal was first introduced into gasoline in the mid-west. ... Login to read more.
