I have an '89 Ford Ranger 2.3l MT here. It will intermitently set a code 54 (check engine lamp comes on). Test KOEO codes 54 and 99 (FMEM), will not run KOER test while this is set. Checking at the ACT sensor, there should be 5V signal (disconected) and ground... Login to read more.
