I agree that the TPS circuit may be the problem. I wasn't aware that datastream was available on 1990 Ford vehicles. What motor does it have?. If you have TPCT (Closed Throttle-Not always available) PID, compare to the TPS voltage at idle when the RPM is high.... Login to read more.
