Hi Jerry -- On Ford Starter Bolts I use a modified 13mm 3/8 6-point socket.. I grind down the lip of the socket to remove the bevel. This allows the socket to grip the head of the Ford Starter bolts.. If you look closely at the starter bolt it has an outer lip... Login to read more.
