We have been offered a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the "new" 4.7L V-8. The engine has slight knock which appears to me to be in the bottom end. The stethoscore can "hear" it almost anywhere, but it's loudest at the oil pan. I have removed the serpentine belt... Login to read more.
