Thanks everyone for responses. The siphoning gas problem was "fixed" by replacing the fuel pump. I still didn't get a sense of how the fuel can siphon out of the float bowl - and that is what happens, it doesn't evaporate - ,empty fuel line or full, but the co... Login to read more.
