The 5 volt reference for the TPS is on pin E6 and the 5 volt reference for the EGR is on pin C10 at the PCM. If the are the same reference and it got pulled to ground the signal would drop in voltage and not rise wouldn't it?.

Makes me wonder if the 12 volt ... Login to read more.
