P0178 is Fuel composition sensor circuit low frequency. It means that the PCM has seen less then 45 Hz from the FCS for more then 12.5 seconds. Watch the FCS reading on scan tool with engine running, if it is above 45 Hz you probably are dealing with... Login to read more.
