Re: 99 ford f150 5 speed-can't shift when cold
Is the pilot bearing hanging up when cold? I have seen this
on F-150s. If you start the truck in gear with clutch in
and let it idle like that for a minute, then the trans
shifts OK into first, then the pilot may be your problem.
