Hi Larry I just replaced a regulator on one of these yesterday for the same complaint but it was obviuos there was a leak from the reg or its associated sealing [...] the reg cured my leak/fuel smell mine was 99 2.4 grand am. HTH Tom-Mo Login to read more.
