Hi Glenn, 3800 balancers can make knocking noises if loose. The last one I did (a 98) had 6mm x 1.00 threads. Buy the new one first and check it's threads, then buy new bolts. You may only get one chance as they can be quite tight. If the holes are not visible... Login to read more.
