NOX causes are, in no particular order, Heat, pressure, mixture. All the causes are related to combustion temp in some way. It sounds stupid, but have you checked the timing? Both "base" and "advance"..? have you checked mixture, I.E. o2 readings, coolant temp... Login to read more.
