Since the problem goes away when you unplug the EGR, I would suggest that you may have a failed Spike Suppression Diode in the EGR driver circuit. This diode is placed across the EGR ignition feed (PCM pin A6) and the EGR driver (PCM pin A3) inside the ... Login to read more.
