Hi Peter, Blowing the fluke fuse is what this test avoids. Instead of using the Fluke ammeter to measure current drain you are measuring the voltage drop across a 1 ohm 10 Watt resistor. I x R = E. .05A x 1 ohm =.05V. It is just another option of a way to meas... Login to read more. ![]()
