Hi Mark, Check voltage drop across a 1 ohm resistor from the negative post to the negative cable. 50mV=50mA. I use 50mA as a general max amount. A new resistor, in the off chance it fails, is alot cheaper than a Fluke fuse. Only a couple bucks from Radio Shack... Login to read more.
