Buddy of mine did a similar stunt. He changed a '68 Chevy Truck from a 292 inline six with a 3-on-the-tree to a 350 with a TH350 tranny. Used the original driveshaft, it was about ½" difference in length. Now try doing something similar on a Ford or a Mopar :) Login to read more.
