I'm not an expert on 63 Chevy's but I'd say to measure that driveshaft carefully before you decide to cut it. I had a 67 Camaro that came with a powerglide. I put a th350 in it with the same driveshaft, and later a Muncie 4 speed and again used the same shaft ... Login to read more.
