I have seen this happen also, with brand new ignition parts. Seems the magnetic field around #7 cylinder induces enough voltage in #8 wire to fire that plug. I also could hear a ping at idle. Seperate 7 & 8 plug wires and problem was gone instantl... Login to read more.
