This sounds like a simple fix. It also saddens me that more than likely a reman unit was installed and the same problem remained. Adjust the TPS to the proper setting. A quick way to set it is to adjust the TPS voltage using a DVOM to .82 volts at 750 RPMS. Login to read more.
