I agree with Sonny Wallace on this. Just had the same problem on my 02 Grand Marc. check eng lite came on and readout Code PO402, Excessive Egr. The valve was as easy to remove as the dipstick, as it sits right next to throttle body. I cleaned it with a wire b... Login to read more.
