Al, I had the same problem on a Ford 1/2 ton awhile back, side brgs. spaulded out only 30 K after we had rebuilt it. We did not use a spreader eitheir and hard to imagine we got to much preload without using it. I'm reluctant to say bad brgs. but it does make ... Login to read more.
