Never heard of this goofy stuff you speak of (the grease). I have had TWO Caravan/Voyager vehicles over the past 3 years that made the TYPE of noise you mentioned BUT I found the noise to be from the aluminum crossmember to the steel lower reinforcement plate.... Login to read more.
