Re: Dodge diesel squeek when shut off
I believe it is caused by the design of the accessory belt system, when the engine is shut off, the inertia in the driven pulleys causes a brief slip in the belt as the tensioner unloads. JMHO (and as well have never had a complaint about it) Login to read more. ![]()
