I think that the first digit in the vin designates the tonnage. A 1 would be a 1/2 ton, a 2 is 3/4 ton, and a 3 is a 1 ton. I'm not sure about the rest of your question. But I think you have a 3/4 ton pickup. HTH. Login to read more.
