How often do valve springs break?

Greetings all,

We have a vehicle in for a second opinion on a poor run, no compression on one cylinder. It's a Dodge Dynasty 3.0L (Mitsubishi).

Zero compression verified on #6 cylinder. Went to do a leak down to see where the compression was lost and yanke... Login to read more.
