We have a 99 Passat (1.8 turbo)coming in for timing belt job & ALLDATA mentions a special tool (Mantra V159) to adjust the tensioner. Have not located tool, looks like a spanner wrench with pins. I think I can make something ahead of time if anyone can give me... Login to read more.
