Have you used propane to check for vacuum leaks? There is a trouble spot on this engine that causes vacuum leaks. It is the elbow at the rear of the plenum. It cracks and causes a leak. I only use propane to find and pinpoint leaks. I find it to be much faster... Login to read more.
