Hi Ken.i think the electronic distributors had to have 12 volts to perform [...] point distributors did use a resistor to cut the voltage [...] cranked on 12 volts ran on about 9 1/2 [...] the existing wiring was used it would have a resistor [...] the voltage... Login to read more.
