Hi Mark,

I would agree with Steve in that if the IAC was sticking closed on starting this could cause the engine to flood. This is why it starts in clear flood because of the fuel in the cylinders. If I remember correctly, the 4.6 really flows a lot of fuel ... Login to read more.
