High mileage injectors definetly cause the conditions you described. I have been suprised the difference rebuilt injectors make w/mileage as low as 100k. As for installing 6.5 in place of 6.2, GM no longer sells 6.2L. 6.5 is factory replacement for 6.2. GM off... Login to read more.
