Hi David. The same tranny is used in GM and other carlines in various configurations. If it jammed in 1st gear, there may have been a jammed synchro, where the sleeve was stuck engaged over 1st driven gear. Forcing it out of 1st gear may have damaged the shift... Login to read more.
