96 Nissan 1.6 L , noise from timing chain

Hi all.

One of our techs has a 96 Nissan 200 SX 1.6 liter dohc in his stall that has an almost "tinny" sounding rattle/vibration coming from the timing chain area of the engine. The noise is most pronounced at 2300 to 2600 r.p.m. It almost sounds like an exh... Login to read more.
